Living Word is a Lutheran congregation that began as a home study group in the summer of 2006 that organized as a house church by the end of that year. When the congregation outgrew the host living room, we accepted a generous offer from the local Christian academy to use one of their extra classrooms for our worship space. Lou Hesse was called to be our pastor in May, 2010, and in early 2013 we leased space in the "former ProBuild" building on West Broadway Avenue. We had our first service there on Reformation Sunday 2013 after months of remodel and construction, and finished up with a dedication service on January 26, 2014.

Sunday mornings:
2609 West Broadway Ave.
Moses Lake, Washington
(Please do not send postal mail to this
address -- see the Contact Info page if you need to
send something by postal delivery.)
We come together each week for worship and fellowship,
and to be renewed in the Word to be ready to go out and serve our neighbor
as the Spirit would have us do.
Our building is fully accessible (no steps at the doors).

Sunday Service:
Beginning at 9:00 AM,
a traditional liturgical service with Bible readings, hymns, sermon, followed by coffee, goodies, and hearty fellowship!
Bible Story time with Miss Abigail --
a short story reading for the kids following most Sunday services, during fellowship time.
We currently celebrate the Lord's Supper each week,
following the Facebook Live broadcast (it is not part of the broadcast).
Visitors who believe in the real presence of Jesus Christ in, with, and under the bread and wine, and the forgiveness this sacrament brings us, are welcome to join us.
>>> If you are not able to attend church services in person
and would like to receive communion, please contact Pastor Lou --
he can bring it to your home or arrange a meeting time at the church.
White grape juice is available for those who do not drink wine.
If you are not yet baptized, please speak with Pastor Lou.

"Prayground" -- a place for toddlers to enjoy church
