What We're About and Where to Find Us
(Scroll down for Bible Studies and other group activities)
Living Word is a Lutheran congregation that began as a home study group that soon organized as a house church in December 2006. When the congregation outgrew the host living room, we accepted a generous offer from the local Christian academy to use one of their extra classrooms for our worship space. Lou Hesse was called to be our pastor in May, 2010. In early 2013 we leased space in the "former ProBuild" building on West Broadway Avenue.
We had our first service there on Reformation Sunday 2013 after months of construction, and finished up with a dedication service on January 26, 2014.
